Book Donations
At Gbawin Literacy Project, we believe that access to books is the cornerstone of a child’s education. That’s why we’re committed to collecting and distributing books to children in rural communities who lack these essential resources. By donating books, we’re not just providing materials; we’re opening doors to new worlds, fostering imagination, and igniting the love of learning. Together, we can empower the next generation, one book at a time.

Supply Distribution
Since 2016, the Gbawin Literacy Project (GLPC) has been dedicated to providing essential school supplies to the children and staff of Barsee-Giah Town Public School. Our mission is to ensure that every student has the tools they need to actively participate and thrive in their learning environment. By equipping students with the necessary supplies, we are helping to remove barriers to education and fostering a more engaging, productive classroom experience.

Teacher Training
Recognizing the critical role of teachers in shaping young minds, GLPC supports their professional development through targeted training programs. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we have successfully funded the tuition for three staff members to pursue advanced teacher training. This investment in educators ensures they are equipped with modern teaching strategies, ultimately benefiting the students they serve.

School Library
Our long-term vision includes expanding our programs to provide greater educational opportunities. GLPC is working towards establishing a community library to ensure that every student has access to a diverse range of books and learning materials. Additionally, we aim to extend classes to include high school levels and launch a study abroad program that will expose students to global perspectives, helping them become well-rounded, culturally aware individuals.
